Memorial Lodge was originally constructed in 2005, funded
by generous donations, and was officially dedicated on September
7th 2005 by the Bishop of Ely.
The Lodge provides facilities for visitors
and is always open when funerals
take place, so visitors may use the toilets and take shelter if needed.
Whilst the Lodge
is not a chapel, it is increasingly used for services and
gatherings following funerals.
Since it was extended
in 2010 it now offers room for about 90 people seated as well as some standing room.
There is a charge made for for use of the Lodge for a service or gathering afterwards
- please ask for details
When is the Lodge open?
The Lodge is always staffed on Wednesdays so drop in between 10am and 2pm and discuss any questions you
may have. If you intend to visit and are delayed, call 01223 303874 so we know to wait for you. We are happy
to meet at other times by appointment (Monday to Friday).
